Our Annual Meeting for 2011 was held at the Paradise Ridge Winery on Friday, February 25h. After the business portion of the meeting was concluded, the 2011 Oral History was presented to Charles and Helen Bacigalupi.
During the program, a cozy fireside chat was conducted by Vivienne Sosnowski, author of the oral history. The Bacigalupi’s thrilled us with stories of their early years in Sonoma County, how they met and how their grapes came to be part of the historic Judgment of Paris in 1976. They also shared paintings done by Charles’ grandmother of the ranch, vineyards and surrounding landscapes.
Throughout the evening we enjoyed wine produced from Bacigalupi grapes and excellent food from Park Avenue Catering. We also held a silent auction of the same wine we enjoyed tasting. All of the wine was donated by wineries who use Bacigalupi grapes.
A special thanks to Paradise Ridge Winery for hosting the WLASC again this year and we would like to thank everyone else involved for their hard work and dedication in making this evening possible.
